For most people, building a home is the largest investment they will make and yet so few people actually know anything about the process, so here are some questions you need to ask yourself:

• Do you have a critical list of items you want?
• Do you understand your build budget and what this includes i.e. design, professional consultants, landscaping etc?
• Do you have a procedure on where to start?
• Do you understand the build process?
• Do you want to be educated about building your home?
• Do you want nothing to do with your build and builder?
• Do you want to trust million-dollar marketing campaigns instead of evidence-based proof that the builder of your home is a quality, competitive builder?
